Just saw something about this on the local news. I commented that I had never heard of a stolen MINI.
Now if you happen to own an Escalade, you have the #1 stolen car, plus the knowledge that they can haul off most of your high priced possessions with it.

If Nathan is a 'typical' MINI owner, they haven't stolen it because it doesn't run!
(cheap shot... yeah, but the Gnat is back up and running! Yea) -

If it's lowest in it's category I wonder how many other cars are in the 'minicar' category?
It's a shame we're in the same category as a Prius. It's no wonder why nobody steals those, it's tough to make a high-speed getaway at 30mph. -

Anyone else notice that most of the top stolen vehicles are large truck/suv's???
The better to haul away stolen merch I suppose??? -

Who steals an F-250?? The Silverado and Escalade make sense in my mind but an F-250? Maybe they ran out of space in the getaway car.
-
Dang rustlers...we string em up here.
F-250's outsell MINIs round these parts. -
And yet, ironically, one of our local club members had her '04 MCS stolen just a couple weeks before this report came out.

I've never heard of a MINI being stolen without without the key being stolen first or a flat-bed truck involved. Anyone else?
