Normally the whole car is in camoflage, with key areas actually covered with cladding, and it makes it difficult to determine the lines of the car with the cladding and all the swirls.
I think you hit the nail on the head--this actually makes the MINI standout; as for concealment, that camoflage is like putting a G-string on Roseanne Barr--it ain't gonna hide much, but it's going to attract a helluva alot of attention.

:cornut: Nathan. Just curious. What's the reasoning/purpose behind the yellow and black swirl camouflage that MINI seems to put on their test bed cars? I can only think that MINI wants to draw attention to them to gauge possible customer response. That's not camouflage but rather a search light in the night.

That car is not near as entiving as the prototype cars we saw from the shows.
I know it is the low end model compared to them but still!!!! -

I like the graphics! I hope they are available on the production cars.

Gotta market to the masses. Looks like the check boxes are there to get the look you want. Throw on some coils and you're all set.

The prototype photos early on had me salivating for either the coupe or the roadster...the latest chain of spy shots have me much less anxious for their release. :frown2::frown5:

One thing for sure, I wouldn't need to check the moveable rear spoiler option because both will/would look better with some sort of fixed rear spoiler.... otherwise the rear end is...blah. 2 cents

I like it, so much so I'm considering giving up Poco to get one.

I wanted one big time in the beginning too..
Was going to be having a "fire sale " to raise money for it but now with all the latest "spy" shots over the last couple of months, I'm playing the waiting game to see them once released with prices!! I still think the "cool one" will start in the mid to upper 30's and will be out of my price range.. -

I'm thinking it is a good base to make it "cool"
