Unfortunately, I HAVE rear ended someone...a 27 year old female who just happened to be an attorney (instantly complained of neck pain in true Gloria Allred fashion), and was driving a 2 week old Porsche 911 Carrera S. It's like my dad always taught me: Go Big, or don't go at all.
Apology accepted. I don't post often but I do lurk and read a lot. I know us MINI owners tend to be more open, accepting and rowdy (in a fun way) and I get that there's a "inside joke for regulars" thing going too, but some of those things said hit a little too close to home for me personally.
Glad I got to see the rare, magnificent and unheard of apology from the infamous Dave - put that one in your history book boys and girls.
Over the last year I have been by the MINI dealer twice, all of there inventory has been Countrymen and Pacemen they have around 40 of those and one coupe or s on their lot. And they wonder why sales are down.
MINI is marketing to hipsters..... But the thing is.... Hipsters don't use cars.... Their ride is the fixie.... MINI never should have abandoned their work with the MINI scooter... That would have been the perfect move to lure hipsters to the marque...
Since the car looks more asian styled with each model year and added vent, it should do well there. Soon it will be the MINI Civic, followed by the MINI Corolla. Maybe even a MINI Tata.
This is the USA and we want what WE want. That why new MINI are not selling. Nobody wants to pay the NEW MINI price for that style they would rather buy better looking used ones.
The only criteria he mentioned is if you liked eating Chinese (I'm going to take a liberty here and assume he meant Chinese food, not Chinese people (although maybe soylent green is socially acceptable nowadays; who knows for sure?), not all that other stuff you mentioned.
