It's just the three series, didn't think it warranted a new thread so I just threw it in here.

Cynicism is popular, but I prefer hope.

Take a closer look folks, the new F56 Hardtop is the only MINI product where the June sales aren't in the tank*.

They are all - how can they not be in the tank. Oh maybe because they sold them to dealers to test drive but not sell to customers because of "issues".

Now that is the 100% Truth.

MINI had been making the excuse about F55 production still ramping up, but they can't say that about other models.

Yeah, I heard on the news a few weeks back that the Big 3 was having their best June since 2008.

Are GM's #'s being adjusted due to almost every car sold since 2008 being recalled?

If the Federal Government investigates General Motors for all the recalls and finds GM is at fault will they fine themselves since they bailed them out and OWENED GM stock?

Interesting that the hardtop was the best seller for the month.

Yup they should not be able to count inside sales to dealerships.

Chinese Middle Class Crazy for Minis

The BMW Group has sold 1 million vehicles in the last six months, a record for the company. It’s on track to sell another million by end of year, and they haven’t yet rolled out their two new BMW brand models.

Best sellers include the BMW 3 Series (233k cars), the BMW 5 series (193k), and the Mini Cooper (131k). The brand that saw the biggest bump in sales was Rolls-Royce: the company sold 1,968 of them, up 33.4% year-over-year. Sales of all BMW offerings rose steadily in the US (5.1%), Mexico (6.2%) and Europe (2.1%), but China saw the greatest increase: 225k BMW and Mini cars were delivered in China – that’s a 23% increase in six months. Almost 80% of Mini owners in China are women. BMW will open 10 to 15 new Mini dealerships a year in China, adding to the 97 it currently has.

Sorry, you're not Chinese. Technically this would make you aborigines, by Dave's criteria. Now go get yourself a boomerang and discover your true inner self.

I do not see MINI specifically mentioned.

The recall affects 3-Series vehicles produced between May 1999 and August 2006.

It really does not matter to me, I have mine disconnected. :frown2::devil:
