If I'm reading this correctly, they sold a total of only 99 X3s in Oct 2010 in all of the US? :eek6:

If you take the Clubby off the table sales are actually up. It'll be interesting to see as MINI tries to expand their brand beyond the 3-door/hatch how successful they will be, ie with respect to the Clubman, Countryman, Beachcomber, etc in the long run.

The X3 is about to go a model changeover for 2011 so 2010 model sales are quite low as they clearing out the leftovers.

It would be interesting to know how much the anticipated launch of the Countryman affected sales. IOW, buyers waiting for the Countryman release before pulling the trigger on either a Hatch or Clubby.

EDIT - Sorry didn't see Nathan's comment at the bottom of the first post.

If I were in the market for a Clubbie, I would wait till I could drive a Countryman.

I am curious about the countryman, I like the all wheel drive.
