I've seen several Scamps at large Mini gatherings in the UK. I never really thought of them as particularly Moke-like, but more just kind of a very square-cut variant of the Mini.
There was a company called Anderson that made a very close copy of the Moke called the Anderson Cub. Well, they made the body only and you'd just bolt up all your Mini bits onto it to complete it.
Here's the Cub.

I love the color of the Classic in the background.

Looks like the Mini version of a VW Thang.

Some look more Moke-like than others and, to my eye, much more like the Moke than other models of the classic. Call it an "eye of the beholder" thing (and I'm clearly cherry-picking) but...

I used to own an English-built 1966 Mini Moke and it was a total blast to drive - even with its stock 850cc engine. It was the ultimate jump in and go vehicle. I swear it handled better than a regular Mini (which is really saying something) - perhaps because of its lower center of gravity. Or, it could be because you sit on top of, rather than in, a Moke so you really need to hold on tightly!
