    A quart over 1000 wouldn't panic me, but I check my oil & it will always be topped off.

    Sadly, all the "full service islands" are gone around these parts. Pump it yourself for go without.

    Of course I always check oil at least every 2nd fuel stop, or every stop with a new car during break-in, and always have. My 1/2012 build Mini CMS has shown no noticeable use of oil over its first 1600 miles.

    So if I read this correctly, and I have a N14 engine, I'm retained at the 15,000 mile oil change interval, while the N16 and N18 get the 10,000 mile oil change. That must mean I have a FAR SUPERIOR engine design..... Bruhahahahahaha...... Well kick me in the head....:crazy:

    HA HA, I still win because I put on less than 10,000/year, soooooo BMW / MINI gives me my free yearly oil change.....:D
