Good day All, I have a simple question, has anyone experienced smoke coming from the car when making a hard tight right turn under heavy braking. I have a 2004 Cooper S and I topped of the power steering fluid a bout 2 weeks ago and that's when the smoking started. If I make a slow right turn nothing, heavy braking same. Could it be I just have some oil building up in the inter cooler and I need to flush it or is there a big repair in my future. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Is the smoke from under the hood or out the tail pipe? Did you fill the reservoir above the mid section on the cap's tube? First guess would be the breather hole is weeping fluid on the header heat shield.
