My 2007 MINI Cooper S is having the same issue (even drained my battery). But MINI said because my VIN is not included in this recall, they will not repair it under recall. But it is having the exact same issues!!! I even reviewed all of my historic repair details and now everything make sense. The issue had started few years back and the dealership that I went to was never able to find the root cause (when my vehicle was still under warranty). Finally, it is now a big issue and they can't do anything about it!!!!! I have already tried calling North America MINI and talked to the dealership manager, they just kept pointing fingers at each other and no one is willing to do anything about it. Needless to say, I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with MINI. What to do??? Please advise and let me know if you have any suggestions!!!
