More my style! See if it goes to production in the roadster form first though.

Not necessarily. With the latest control technology, it could have a motor at each rear hub - or all four hubs! :yikes:

The article didn't say. It could be either.

The BMW i3, Tesla Roadster, and Tesla S are RWD electrics. BMW i8 has electric drive in front, gas drive in rear.

If and when it shows up in production..... It still has to clear the hurdle of "Pedestrian Impact Design"..... Heh

Right now it's all "Pie in the sky"......

But it does look good....... Without stickers...:D

Clean, simple, and elegant. I like it.

MINI will be sharing a platform with the upcoming BMW Z2. I'd welcome something that doesn't end up look just like the F56.

Yup those would be the first thing to go and I would not order it in that color leather combo.

Red with Tan or Black leather all sports car should be Red.

I have noticed in all the post every likes it. I know its the shape and design but do you also like that it is very MINable inside? I do. :D

Not a whole lot of crap we really don't need, just straight forward and simple like a MINI should be. If you want something to drink pull over have a drink, leave the empty cup behind and get back in the car and drive.

Hidden in the description is that the car is wider than a Mini - so it's sorta an Audi TT not a Mini. Bigger is not better.

Yeah but if they decide to actually build it and release it for Production that would not matter. (They won't)

As far as I see it BMW has not been building MINI's anyhow, just small BMW's.

    Spot on.

The interior is mostly function, without the fluff. Clean, not cluttered. The team really nailed this one and made a car meant for driving, not media consumption.
