Just like no Porsche Cayman will make more power than a 911 turbo. -

Maybe........Will see what actually comes out the door.

I've read that this will be based on the upcoming Clubman chassis, not on the F56 chassis, so will be a(nother) significantly bigger car than a Mini - more like an Audi TT.

I have known a few guys like that. I remember this one guy that always got FTD at the autoX. Once he brought a stock Maxma and took FTD even with several modifies running that day.

Dave.0 Helix & RMW PoweredLifetime SupporterThey need to picture of the F56 on the design wall and spay paint "Bloody Ugly" over it so they remember.
Or maybe a huge mirror on the wall that says: "This is what failure looks like!" <-- How's that for a stupid motivational poster. -
Since two of my favorite cars are the MINI and the Miata, I should be crazy about this thing, right? Or at least look at it somewhat favorably. But I can't warm up to it, it's like ketchup and ice cream together to me. The MINI brand is supposed to have some identity, and folks this just ain't it.
Perhaps if the roadster was branded as a Triumph or something (BMW still owns the rights to that name I believe), that would help. Honestly, anything other than calling it a "MINI" would be a step in the right direction.
I'd probably feel the same way if Mazda created a hot hatch like a VW GTI (or a Cooper S  )and then tried calling that car a Miata... -

The F56 is an ugly POS with no style and way too many electronic gadgets and nanny features.
