Posted this yesterday, but it may have been lost after the glitch.:ihih:

I stumbled on this site the other day searching for MINI specific answers. Seems to have a lot of detailed information. WDS BMW Wiring Diagram System - Model Selection

    Thought I would share:Thumbsup:

FYI, if you use this site note above, it works best when using Opera. There are issues with Firefox and IE8.

    What Nathan says.

I couldn't get everything to show until I downloaded Opera and the latest Java.

IE7 and IE8 work fine. You have to install the Adobe SVG viewer plugin in addition to Java.

I have used the WDS for years and it is a valuable resource. It used to be on the iniw.info site that recently closed (they created the discontinued MCAW windows up circuit, competitor to Ian Cull's). Thanks go to chris.j.lamb on NAM for asking the owner of the bmw-planet site to add the links for MINI: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/electrical/181070-mini-wds-back-online.html

SVG diagrams don't display for me in Chrome 4. Are you running Chrome 5 Beta?

    404s are missing pages

not SVG errors. I really wonder how all this works out. It's definitely illegal to post the WDS on open web sites. BMW sells the service by day, month and year via BMW TIS EPA, but it's not cheap. You also get lots of other stuff there as well. I use it every now and then (keep a list of what I want then just pay for one day and download tons of stuff).

The MCAW guy had the WDS up for a while, then took it down for whatever reason. FWIW, you can get it on CD on eBay for about $10, but these are pirated versions as well.

I always get worried about these links when they get posted on open forums. Seems that after a while when they are in the plain light of day, they go away....
