Thanks Nathan for setting up this thread. I hope some of you can make it out to MINI Thunder. Thunderhill Raceway Park was designed, built, and is owned & operated by the San Francisco Region of SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). The track is three miles long and has 15 turns.

TO ALL:

On Sunday the car show will begin at 1PM, but you can arrive as late as 2:30PM. Judging will start at 3PM and awards and prizes will follow at 4PM. You don't have to be registered for MINI Thunder to attend the car show. You don't have to be staying at Colusa Casino to be in the car show. There is NO entry fee for the car show. You DO have to have a MINI/Mini Cooper to be in the car show

For Monday 2/15 Thunderhill gates will open at 7:00AM, mandatory drivers meeting at 8:00AM, and first Minis on track at 8:30AM. We will start with the advanced group as the beginners will egt some additional classroom instruction before going out on course.

Again those that wish to come out and spectate at Thunderhill can do so for Free. Time permitting you will get a chance to either take parade laps or ride along with an instructor. You will not need to have a helmet.

 

MINI Mania will be bringing a few spare parts for anyone that might have troubles during the event. No cost for fellow drivers.

 

Does anyone know if the track will run Cabrio's??

 

Sorry for not noticing this post. Yes you can runa Cabrio at Thunderhill. We will hold MINI Thunder II next year on Feb 20, 2011.
