For those of you on the west coast, MINI Thunder V is quickly approaching. It looks like we have another great turnout and early weather forecasts look good, sunny and 65F. Remember that Mini owners and enthusiasts are welcome as spectators free of charge. You can get hot lap demo rides with coaches and advanced drivers, plus you can do parade laps around Thunderhill at lunch. So come on out and check out all the cool Minis from all over the west coast. Sunday Feb 16, 2014 at Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows CA

Thanks Nathan - Here are a few highlights for MINI Thunder V.

We have a full grid of drivers and coaches. We expect 200+ MINI/Minis to be participating in the beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Race prep groups.

We have some notable Minis and drivers participating. Jacques Andres of Bay Bridge Bimmers and Minis, owner and builder of TWINI (The Twin engine endure Mini Cooper) as featured on Jay Leno's Garage and Car & Driver.

Doug Peterson,, 7 time SCCA National Champion driver and Dayton 24 Hour class winner will be driving the Fortech Mini owned by Mike Kearney of Seven Enterprises.

We have some of the finest coaches in the world, over 50 will be on hand to help guide our students.

Weather looks great but we are keeping our fingers crossed it does not change.

All Mini enthusiasts are welcome to come out, free of charge, and enjoy the day with hot lap demo rides, parade laps, and much more.

Thanks Nathan and Motoring Alliance for your ongoing support of our event and all the other Mini events across the country.
