Coupe at Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix!

We saw it, sat in it, and partied with it - they "pre-launched" at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (and Mini of Pittsburgh Grand Opening) in July!

Saw one at MAG the other day when I dropped off my car. from some angles it looks kinda neat, from others I think it looks hideous. Overall I don't like it. Especially for no performance benefit and less functionality.

Oh, there's a performance benefit! The suspension feel is completely different, far more lively, but I do see your point. I'd rather have some semblance of practicality, but that's just me.

The new Coupe is pretty cool...but I'd rather pay less and get a back seat or pay more and get a JCW Cooper.

Drove the JCW Coupe on Saturday. . .and it was SO MUCH FUN! Keep in mind, I drive a Justa now so it was a significant difference for me. My only problem with the Coupe is the visibility. Big blind spots and with the spoiler up the rear view is also compromised quite a bit. It will be better as a convertible. But, man, it is one SEXY car in person.

I think it's based on the R57 - have you ever driven the vert? "Blind Spot" is its middle name...
