A little birdie informed us this early this morning and now MINI United official Facebook site has confirmed it. MINI United will not be taking place this summer as originally planned. Instead MINI is planning on moving the event to the summer of 2012. The location will remain France but no details have been given. Ed - This begs the question about MINI Takes the States in 2012 since these events were held on opposite years and 2012 would in theory be the the next MTTS. Source - MotoringFile
MINI -You have to be kidding! I have already booked and paid my airline tickets, hotels, and rental Mini. This is going to cost me thousands of dollars! Have a ball in 2012 I will not be coming back to MU ever! This SUCKS and I for one will never return to MTTS or MINI United.
i can understand the disappointment, especially if you'd already made plans, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it's for a good reason. Hopefully the 2012 event lives up to the hype, I've only heard good things about MINI United.
