That looks like one of the Mini designs from 1998 before BMW came out with the Frank Stevenson designed series one MINI.

To me, the rear of the 992 looks bad. It’s looks too tall and boxy from some angles and the tail lights look recessed with the ridges in the lenses, but I’m sure the bigger rear end another design casualty due to modern crash standards.
The ex-factory mid engine RSR’s will still be running in IMSA for 2021 as they were bought by Proton.-

Agreed.. Though I have to admit, when they came out with an SUV before a sedan I was like ???? But in the end, it essentially saved the company. However, like Porsche there are the old school folks who hate all the new ones. Overall I think they have done a good job keeping the 911 true to its roots.. even thought they are pulling out from IMSA..

It didn't bother me when Porsche went to water cooled engines. I think they had to to meet emissions goals.
Now Porsche in IMSA. I could never understand how they could move the placement of the engine & still run?? I think there will still be Porsches running in GTD next year. Just not the mid-engine'd 911's.
Porsche SUV's boo hiss.
