I bet your face hurt when you were done. Lots of smiling from ear to ear. I love a wet track.![]()

Yup
and I feed off of the shame generated when I pass objectively faster cars

The walls are even closer on their other circuits! I guess being on the east coast I am just used to it. That and the mini doesn't have the highest top speed
where I hit 120 vettes are doing 160 (in the dry).
I had been getting by with tires like z2* in the rain which are decent and staying on r-comps for a drizzle, but real tread cavity in a downpour felt like cheating!
The only part I don't like about the rain is soggy socks and walking around the paddock. On track I find it really fun and challenging, plus I get to pass more people. I don't know if you caught it but when I almost lost it in turn 3 twice (~9:46 and 9:55) I lol at 10:02 because the aim was saying that was faster! I just need to be less of wuss and drive closer to the edge!!!-

Yep. Some of my most fun track sessions have been in the wet, in the MINI.
And yep, the DW's are very capable in the wet. -
