Packing heavy for 3 people, luggage, tools, 3 bag chairs and a model bridge to go on the roof.
We left last night after dinner.
The first 60 miles were brutal crawling thru downtown Chicago traffic and thru northern Indiana.. things finally opened up once we got to Michigan.
First night stopover near Grand Rapids. Today we will hit up the Tunnel of Trees on the way to St. Ignace

Today was a drive from Grand Rapids to St. Ignace
We took a detour thru the Tunnel of Trees (Route M-119) which is a twisty narrow 20 mile stretch of road.. Very little traffic made for a fun drive.
This is part of the line of MINIs waiting to stage for the evening Sunset drive (which I did not do)

MINIs on the Mack is done for this year.. Official count was 1002 MINIs
The format was different with a later start and an afternoon drive after lunch and festivities.
Fun to see so many MINIs gathered at one location.
My Bridge on top of the MINI was stronger than in the past but I still had a couple issues with it at 70mph.
We'll be heading home over the Upper Peninsula to Green Bay and then back to Chicagoland.
Here is a link to a lot of pictures.. we'll be adding a few more in the next two days-
