    So their position is weakening in 2013. Their "Not Normal" campaign started some time in 2012 and has been the primary (if not only) marketing message during 2013.

    I wonder if anyone with the company can put two and two together?

    The subject of auto advertising brings to mind the Volks ads from the 60's. One of theirs showed the outline of their micro bus and below was the caption, "We make a funny looking car too!"

    Short and sweet, and it worked. (My first VW was bought in 1957.)

    Interesting sales approach. I've always felt like one may have to spend a buck to make a buck. Just a thought....

    I started drinking Dos Equis after I was reminded repeatedly to "Stay thirsty." On the other hand, I prefer In-N-Out to Carl's Jr. As suggestive as those ads are, they simply don't make me crave a substandard burger.
