had a GREAT time at this year's event, was there from Monday til Sunday...BEST weather I've had there in years! 70sday/high 40snight and NO rain!!!!!......ran Dragon every day but Sat/Sun (of course) LOTS of clean runs.....but there was a tragedy up there (nothing to do with the MINIs) when a biker was killed and another injured when they collided and both went off on Sat and weren't found til Sun.......a VERY stark reminder to always pay attention when driving on this road, no matter how you drive it....

Nice clean run, well done. That also took care of my Dragon fix for the week.

Tell the guy in front of you he needs to stop braking "in the turn" he needs to brake "before the turns".

    Thanks for the video post.

    How'd I know you'd chime in with a critique. Haha. :biggrin5:

It was his and the GP's first run ever on The Dragon, and the first one for me in a MINI or in/on anything in years. He was adjusting to the road, and I spent the entire time driving over there trying to warn/scare them of the road, so I'll cut him some slack.

He's a trackday addict and our runs only got quicker. His tuned F56 (decat, JB4, PSS10s, JCW BBK) was just as fast (I'll have to pull up the video of our highway pull) and capable as my stock F56 with JCW PRO suspenders, we had a great time there and on surrounding roads. :beer

1st return run on The Dragon...I call it the run of experimentation as we're all playing with running it in 2nd, 3rd, and 2nd & 3rd.

No tire squealing yet except for one spot of over exuberance.

Ran into a Countryman new to The Dragon who I heard did great the rest of the day. Also following a Jetta GLI who make me work a bit while lugging in 3rd gear. When we caught up to the rest of the group we had the pleasure of following a drunk driver in a pickup truck. :(
