    Hi folks,
    last weekend I tried to clean engine bay of my mini and noticed one free connector there...

    I have tried to find where it belongs and makes me confused. Can't believe it is there just for no purpose. Can you please help to identify what is for and where it belongs please? Engine 1.6 turbo.

    This is just a guess, but I think it is for the alarm system you do not have on your MINI. It is not a free connector, you paid for it when you bought the car.

    seem like good guess to me... my car has no alarm. And it makes sense wiring harness is ready for it since it's optional. Thanks a lot!
