Members from Mini clubs in BC Canada and Washington state will be coming to
Redding on Monday night to join us on our caravan to Mini Meet West 2011 in
Lake Tahoe. Mini Meet West is the longest continuously running yearly Mini event in
north America, starting back in 1973. Although MMW has been considered a
"classic" Mini event, it has opened to new BMW MINIs in the past few years.
Shasta Minis will be a part of MMW this year with several of our members
working registration and being involved to events. Steve & Stacey of O2
Motorsports have stepped up as "Platinum" sponsors of the event.
If you have time on Monday evening about 5:00PM, please stop by O2
Motorsports 865 Twin View Blvd, Redding CA for an informal "meet & greet"
for our fellow Mini "road warriors" from the north. After our meet & greet
we will head next door to Fatboy's Rotisserie for dinner. We would love to
show off our Shasta Minis hospitality and support for our friends, and our
beautiful cars.
So come by and say HI from 5:00PM on. Let us know if you will be staying for
dinner so we can let Fatboy's know how many to expect.
We depart Tuesday morning at 9:00AM and will meet up with the Oregon Mini Society group in Susanville for lunch, then head south and meet up with another group from the San Francisco Bay Area in Truckee before arriving at Cal Neva Resort, Crystal Bay, Lake Tahoe about 4:30PM. Just about BREW Time

Yep, I talked to him and his wife at the G4 tent, nice folks. I think the car hauler idea is a good one. Sorta like "West M/A meets East M/A" (WMAMEMA).
