Dick, my wife is a soon-to-be breast cancer survivor. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help your mom thru this!
Cant believe its been over 2 MONTHS since my last cigarette! Just picked up my first bottle of 0% nicotine e-smoke juice dow from the 6mg I have been on for the last 3 weeks, so its safe to say I'm about done!
Well Done!!! DO you get a discount on your health insurance for quitting? They offer that here at work as an enticement..
Unfortunately it comes with no discount on insurance, but it does come with extra money... That $6.00 a day that I used to spend on smokes gets to stay in my pocket now, and $6.00 a day adds up pretty quick! Then it goes right to the cars.
Sounds like work well done! Congrats!! The monthly savings sounds like enough for another toy....or lots of mods...or even a nice vacation!!
Yep, once I have enough of this vape pen, thats another $11 a week I get to put toward 1.8 stroker parts...
Today Mom got pulled off of chemo, due to a bad reaction with the last round of drugs. So now its on to radiation treatments. After I get back from the Dragon, I am going to continue with the VA for my stuff now that she is off of the hard stuff. I decided I am not dealing with the Denver VA hospital though, a few friends let me in on a secret, and I will be going to Cheyenne for my assessment appointments. Thats really all that is going on here now, and I am good with it!
Dick: Having lost a mother to cancer many years ago, I have one suggestion. Don't have any lack of urgency in caring for your mother. Cancer doesn't effect the body in a linear fashion: things can go bad in a matter of hours, so pay attention and cherish every interaction that you have.
Hang in there man; be there for your mom, but make sure to take care of yourself too. Puts everything else into perspective.
It's OK, Dave...I'll get him woozy at the Cigar Salon with the sticks I got him in honor of the Porker and the RodentRod.
