Wow, I love that steering wheel. I'm also not a huge fan of the coupe, but that one is nicely done!

That steering wheel is sweet! I'd totally be interested in a group buy if anyone figures anything out!

I'd Love one of those wheels as well. I've been talking to the makers and they have several styles. All alcantara, all leather, a combination of both as well as a carbon fiber version and more in the works. It's a German company and as you can imagine, being an import, they're not cheap. If there is enough interest I'd imagine they'd entertain the idea of a group buy or something similar.

I saw a flat-bottom steering wheel on M|U recently, but I think it was only being fabricated for drivers in Europe, no plans for bringing them stateside.

That wheel is from B&D in Germany, Battle Performance in the UK can get them for you..... It's like 750.00 US shipped and they have several versions.

Fantastic looking, although I'm not sure how much I'd like the shift lights on a daily basis.

The shift lights are cool but I would hate for them to be there... What happens when you want to look at it while making a very sharp turn... you probably wouldn't be able to see it easily.

The slammed style is the only way to go for a coupe! They look so God awful with the stock ride height. Worse than the stock R56! This definitely makes me like it more, but then I step around to the boot and see that ba-donka-donk bootie and scratch my head saying, "What they hell were you thinking MINI!?"

I'll have to disagree with you there, shapely backsides are where it's at:biggrin5:

I'd have to wear driving gloves non-stop, what the lifespan on an Alcantara steering wheel?
