MoM Donuts and Gift Exchange 12/20

So here is what I DID remember on Saturday -
1. Called insurance to tell them I was taking the car out.
2. Gift for exchange.
3. Pen and paper and scissors to cut up little number tags for exchange.
4. Stopped at ATM for cash for donuts.
5. and I was on time at 8:30am with dogs fed and walked.
So, before you write off my BRAIN, you have to give me some props for all my other detail. :aureola:

 

Well done, hope you didn't run with the scissors.

 

Did you go ahead and create the number tags and cut them out so you only have to remember to bring them (just make 30 to be safe) and not the pen and scissors this week?

 

Perhaps. And maybe I will get little tiles engraved with the numbers on them.

 

Planning on stopping by. One MINI gets delivered tomorrow. Who knows about the other one. It was delayed because they couldn't get it on the truck with the front splitter installed.

 

I'll be there as long as the weather holds up.

I know about the weather, Chuck, but there IS a sliiiiiight difference in driving 90 miles to an early morning coffee at Tim Horton's vs. having to drive...what...15 miles or so? I'll be leaving my house around 6:15 AM or so to get over there by around 8:30. Just sayin....:cornut:

I'm bringing Pepper the Navigator and he told me he wants a Tim Bit or 2 or he doesn't want to come. The S is all gassed up and I aired up the tires, too. God willing, I'll be there, and will probably stop at MAG for the "Great M0M Invite" on my way home, too!

 

Now you can sleep in this Saturday

 

I'm in but I'll be there on the wrong day -- don't want Carol to feel bad.

If I DO come over, I'll wear that special cap that Nathan said would never fly with the MINI crowd...guess that is why MINI cannot keep them in stock!

 

Oh wow a hat with wings that fly's! Can't wait to see that.

 

It's like Christmas or something.....I don't think I will be able to sleep for all that anticipation.

Hope you all have a great time at the gift exchange and MAG event. Curious to see how many Silverbacks can be stuffed in the 4dr F56. Hope Welshy enjoys his new rear badge that Mark got him.....

 

Mark decided it is better that I not drive at all, so he gave me a geriatric puzzle [guaranteed NOT to be solved] to make sure that driving is NOT in my future. Then, he gave me theat tire he no longer wanted and I found it at the front of my S...I guess he thinks it's a MINI rubberized "bull bar"!:devil:

 

It was very nice to see everyone yesterday morning for donuts & good cheer among friends. Some folks went over to MAG, but since I'd already checked out the four door I took a drive out in the country. Good friend & nice guy Steve called me & told me they were giving away $100 worth of service, parts or accessories just for showing ones key fob. Babs & I headed over & scored. Very nice of MAG MINI and real nice of Steve to let me know so I didn't miss out.
