    I need to stand in the shade next time. I got burnt.

    I went MINI shopping afterwards. Drove an '07 base s on a longish test drive. I was impressed with how quite it is (road noise) over my Subie. There was a loaded '07 s with 67k hard miles. I wouldn't trade for it straight up let alone put in money. It was that rough. Then there was the '09 JCW Clubman. Low miles, equipped the way I want great car just out of the price range. I told them I'd take it for my car in 10k but they said no.

    The right car will come along soon enough.
