Donuts, drive, MINI, food, AMISH!!!! SO it's been forever since I've been around! Too busy these days! I finally was able to get a Saturday off to come see you guys! I've got some good news and bad news! Good news is the little Civic Si is running strong, bad news, the hood latch failed and the hood smashed the windshield last Saturday, getting it replaced Friday. other bad news well, really good news, that young lady I brought last time, she was kinda crazy and wanted nothing to do with my kids so I threw her in the boot and took her down by the river... ha, but she's gone and there was this friend of mine you see her and I go way back, and well, she loves my kids! maybe she'll work! So we'll be joining for breakfast and then going to Hocking hills for a hike! I know this is more than most of you are used to reading on here, more than I'm used to typing. lol. I'll try to make a habit of seeing y'all more often! See ya Saturday! :donut1:
Hi Mike! Glad to hear you are doing well. I believe there is someone for everyone. You will find your's too. Be patient my friend.
This is where I stand... I have a ride from Home to Donuts. I'd like to go on the drive / Amish Lunch, can I go with someone please? I'll need a ride back to the Short North afterwards as well please...
I'm going to try to make it. My attendance is dependent on my willingness to obey the alarm clock in the morning. I've been up til 4am almost every day this week working so my sleep schedule is all out of whack.
I'll be there but won't be able to make the run or hear the Amish gurls squeal to the sound of my turbo. I have a 10:00 spot at MAG to replace my intermediate water pumper under warranty.
Nice seeing everybody today! Can't wait to see Gust's photos in 6 months when they develop Very cool camera!!
Sorry I had to leave early (Note empty spot on the left side)..... See, Justa Jim, photographic proof I had to leave early.... Had to get the little HO2 water pumper replaced on the recall... Wish I could have made the run to Amish country....
You seem to be driving your wife's JUSTA lot lately Crash. Why is that? Never mind........I know the answer. Jim
Sorry we missed it. I had to work and wage war on some invasive honeysuckle at the park. Shame too... Love those Amish roads and with the countryman, easier to miss the road apples!
Glad to hear you are waging war on that damned Japanese Honeysucle. That stuff seems to be everywhere. Maybe worse than kudzu. Hope you managed to stay out of the poison ivy.
Jim you must already know Babs wanted to take her MINI & I wanted to take mine. She won out which was fine with me.
Pictures from the donut munch Here are the pictures that I took at the last donut munch. Enjoy! 3-17-2012 Donuts & Road Apples - crashton's Photos
