I didn't check in here this morning before heading for the hallowed donut grounds, upon arrival I found a startling lack of mini's
There was a dark grey Golf R there for a while with the plate "pauls R" I'm sure he left those suspiciously circular tire tracks since I would never do that sort of thing.

I do have many friends that I've met though my years of MINI ownership. If someone buys another kind of car they are still my friend. I'd hope my friends would extend me the same courtesy. Some will, others won't & I'm OK with that. c'est la vie....

AWD is great, but snow tires are better. AWD with snow tires is amazing.

 

The kids will be thrilled to get donuts two weeks in a row, it's all win.

 

I'm sure I won't have the dirtiest MINI. Not since you started off-roading yours.

Haha, come on Chuck this is a club,group,gaggle or something and your part of it. Just because you bought a GTI you don't have to throw out the just being with friends line. It's ok to be part of something. I'm not sure if German cars motor, we may have to alter it to "mid Ohio group of people that like cars and that drive them around and eat together a lot"

I bought this car for me. If I had wanted input on my decision I'd have set up a pole. Crankshaft I think you're OK too no matter what you drive.

No launch control, it has lunch control. If seems to want to stop at good places to eat.
If it had launch control I wouldn't use it, but heck I do love pulling the hand brake & doing a 180.
