Good seeing everyone this morning. You guys missed a wonderful short little 190 mile drive through Amish country. Not to mention Tom's car control clinic.
The drive was awesome. Thanks Chuck! However, when we hit one of the hills a rock flew up and cracked my windshield it's a small crack so... "Safelite repair Safelite replace!"
I'm sorry to hear that Seth.:frown5: Maybe a few more car lengths between cars next time. I know my MINI was flinging road apples at Tom. You got to drive some of the Riverrun route yesterday. :biggrin5: Best catch can install ever! As seen on Chuck's JCW.
A few pictures..... Didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few.... :biggrin5: 1-19-2013 Donut munch - crashton's Photos
Yea that's why I started staying back a few. However, it was one of those down and up hills where I was at the bottom and Nick was at the top. Nothing I could do, saw it coming straight for me, at least it didn't hit the bonnet.
Sorry about the rock Seth. I wasn't trying to hit the windshield. We had a good run after you turned off, some good food, and entertaining car control from Tom. Thanks for the tour Chuck.
No worries! Those kinds of things are out of our control. I just remember seeing it and watching it all the way like a deer in headlights... my lead foot didn't waiver. I keep hearing about this car control thing.... what is this?
Sorry I missed all the fun, was checking out some pretty nice cars at the auto show. Found this one stuffed in a corner. Doesn't offend me as much as some, but I still like the 1st Gen GP better...
Only thing offensive is the price tag, but that is the cost of limited run cars no where to spread the costs Do they offer all the upgrades as dealer installs? That would be pretty awesome to add the go fast parts to a Coupe and create an out of the dealer track car.
Sorry I missed it (again). I did manage to make a nice run Sunday though, found State Route 555 south of Zanesville, took it to 78, and meandered around Southeast Ohio for a bit. 555 is one heck of a road, not to be missed.
78 takes you to 536, which is one of the best roads in Ohio. 556 is nearby and a lot of fun when there isn't a landslide. Add in 26 and you have a nice little lap of Monroe County, which is where I grew up thus explaining why I know a good loop of roads around there
