Sounds like you made the right decision. Food always trumps watching a parade (any kind of parade)

 

Look at a real classic mini and look the first gens. They have the classic bulldog flat front and a very little bit overhang like it should be.

As for the newer generation MINI's well.........not so much. :rolleyes5:
They look more like a Ford focus (non-ST version) with round lights.
