Oops. I got my MINI out and had trouble with 5th and 6th but it was just operator error. That comment is for Nick. Pic above -- not dreaming of fla. Looking for 5 and 6 on shift knob.
Heck you should have come over in 4th bumping the rev limiter all the way. Seems like your short shift shorted you a couple of gears. I hope it is nothing serious Nick. :fingerscrossed: Very nice pictures Chuck, polarizer FTW! Nice seeing everyone. You guys missed a nice drive up to Amish land.
Thanks to Jason for the console shelfie thing. And nice meeting Suzanne and Jeff -- two of our new folks.
It was good to see every one that made it out today. Chuck, how was your Amish drive? I had family coming into town or I would have probably joined you. Nick, hopefully you were able to get your issue sorted out.
Nice drive as always Brian, wish you could have come along. I'd have liked to switch cars for a bit. The Custard pie was great. One day late for pi day, but pie is better than pi.
Nice meeting everyone this morning. Looking forward to doing future events with you. I even won a cup of coffee.
Always up for a drive. Still not committed 100% to the dragon this year. Depends how my back is doing & it hasn't been great.
All is good now. I made the dust cover too narrow. While I did miss seeing my friends I, unexpectedly, got to spend the day with my younger son hanging out and working on cars. I'll take that trade any day because it is too rare after they grow up.
Sorry to hear that your back is giving you issues. I could understand no wanting to make the drive down and back from the Dragon. Staying home could give you more time to put the finishing touches on this year's Riverrun route.
Chuck, I've got some good back meds for you and I'm sure Jeff does too. Missing the best MINI event of the year should not be an option. I hope you start feeling better.
