That would be a wonderful excursion for the M0M club members...especially the ones who have never seen that wonderful homage to flight.

I think it's a great idea. When are the updates to the museum going to be done?

After seeing the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and being a little disappointed, I want to see the Air Force museum again.

It would make a great winter road trip.

We'll wait for a real snowy day & do an all season vs snow tire comparison. Should be a hoot. :D

I have the all seasons because I don't HAVE to go anywhere if it snows a lot and I'm cheap. If I could get snow tires for a reasonable price I'd have them.

It is still all about tires. Having owned a few 4WD vehicles I stand by my tire statement.

You're right about the tires! I run the Michelin 4 x 4 Sychrones on 19" rims - they looks really cool, but snow/ice traction is completlely comprised. If the P38 didn't have a really good AWD system I'd be in deep dodo. Forget about trying to stop in bad condition on these cause they're slick as snot (not that the P38 stops well when it's dry either). Makes me feel like a rally car driver in the snow!

I've got a set of BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO's on 16" wheels. These tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements (and are branded with the mountain/snowflake symbol). These tires make a world of difference in snowy/icy conditions. I can through just about anything on them and they work really well in dry conditions. CHP use to waive me through the chain control checkpoints going up to the montains under snowy conditions in California, as long as you were carrying chains.

Believe it or not , I've not put on the BFG's on since I've in Ohio. Made it through two winters on the Michelins. This winter they're definitely going on, because my 16 year old is going to be driving it. Yikes!

You all have gone soft! I'll drive my mini in a blizzard with summer tires on it!
It's the driver that makes the vehicle good not the other way around!

Haha I know. I am kind of scared to have snow again. My tires are not exactly the greatest for snow. I might get going, but stopping is the problem :nonod:

Ha! Doesn't your cape get caught in the peddles superman?

I did lots of stuff & got away with it, but as I've gained some common sense I do less of that.
