Same place, same time. 8:30ish Tim Horton's - New Albany After Tim's join some of us, if the weather is nice, for a drive up to Mid-Ohio for some Historic Races. Admission is only 10 bucks.
Oh yeah, thats this weekend. Donuts, yeah. The Race, already made other plans. The race is not on the website as it's not really a public event.
It's not on the Mid-Ohio website. It's on the Historic Race Car site www.hsrrace.com I'm going up on Sunday.
I may do Sunday too, tomorrow is booked for baloney. The weather for Sunday looks iffy, if it is I'll punt.
Instead of watching racing in the rain, you guys should go race in the rain at CRP for the penultimate autocross event of the year.
Just my opinion, but that is not racing. I'm sure it is a lot of fun, but it is not for me. I feel racing has ruined autox for me. Tell you what lets strap our helmets on & head to Mid-Ohio & have fun on a car track. I'm looking with interest at SCCA PDX, seems like the cheapest way to get onto Mid-Ohio. Let me know if you are interested, we could go together or hit a fun Day at Nelson. Been a while since I've been on the track & I'm getting a bit itchy to hang it out. :arf: Discaimer: PDX & Nelson fun days are not racing either, just way big fun on a track that lasts all day.
Great I'll do some more checking on the PDX program. I think this year has wound down to the end as far as local track days go. I'll keep you posted. If anyone else is interested chime in. These track days are as much fun as a fella can have with his pants on.
I'm glad I look. I have the car all loaded for the track for tomorrow. But if no one is going I'll unload. Since I thought we were going on Saturday I made Sunday plans.
Sorry Nick, didn't realize what I did had an impact on you. I'm not one for planning things & I forget sometimes it effects others.
