This is so much fun to read but all "clubs" have this problem as the years go by. This is why many little sub groups have broken off from PhillyMINI and done there own thing. This is exactly what happened with our little group of people that go to the Dragon every year. We don't hate PhillyMINI we just kind of out grew the PhillyMINI scean and wanted to do our own thing without rules, officers, dues and all the drama of the large group. Both groups coexist without and issues and we are kind to eachother when we hang out together. People grow, things change and life happens but it was our "once unique" cars that pulled us all together at the beginning that has created us the opportunity to meet new we life long friends.
Opposite minus the dues and leaders and formalness. Drama will always be there. Thanks Dave for steering the topic back off the path as we just got back on it. Lol
Soooooo..... I guess I might see some of you folks next month at Tim Horton's New Albany.... Maybe... If not.... The line will be shorter.... For me...
Ooh ooh I didn't get to reply on the off topic yet. On Brian attacking me again. Bit me. I have been doing something about it. Just not on here. Chuck LXM is more disorganized and dysfunctional than MoM. Seth thanks for the defense. It's just sad that this group has desolved into donut only. Not that there is anything wrong with donuts. Now back to the discusion of the indecision of a new donut place. Will giant eagle let us stand around inside and talk on a rainy day?
Probably not.... On those rainy days, the donuts will be served up in California, including an impromptu drive.....
There is an upstairs area on the left side of the store over the liquor dept for in store dining. I'm sure we can sit off in a corner on a rainy day and chat.
I've enjoyed getting to know you guys. I'll head to whatever new place you pick. Would it be insane to just meet at Cars & Coffee (the same parking lot)? We could grab our own row, meet, and hang out talking about - and seeing - some cool cars.
I'm all about C&C, but the limited breakfast options (just bagels) and seating in Cup O' Joe would make that challenging. The Giant Eagle idea sounds good in that it seems central to most.
Well since we are trying to become a formal club I move that breakfast be moved to Giant Eagle at Grandview Yard. Do I have a second?
I second. I'm going to have to dust of my parliamentary procedures handbook from my Future Farmers of America days in high school.
Just do cars and coffee instead. Half of MoM doesn't have MINIs and doesn't like them so it all fits together. The MINIs can be together. The VWs can be together. The Mazdas can together. The Fords can be together. Steven and Chris can even bring their trucks.

ostcount My problem has always been the fact that I'm out of town most weekends and can't make it for that reason.
