I think we lucked out with the perfect day for this. The weather was great, cars ran really well and there is still enough sun to get some heat in a summer tire. Within a week the trees will be bare it seems. Colder weather, some rain and this wind that's forecast for the week will see to that.
Erika can drive!. She was behind me for a while and stuck to me in the corners like glue. That justa is set up real nice.
Was a lot of fun to be in a line of MINIs (and Honda too) zipping along at a decent pace on the backroads. Lots of elevations changes and turns to keep one busy and having fun. The sight of a few cars in front and behind kicking up a swirl of leaves will a good memory for quite some time.
After a week of hemming and hawing about going I am quite glad I did.
Let me jump out of the stow away, dust myself off and count me in. That is if I get my control arms in by then. If you look below you see it took a turn for the worst.
Would it be possible to get the "end" part of the route so I can have my route from the "end" to my next stop printed out ahead of time & tucked into my travel folder? :donut1:
