I couldn't believe it when Ronbo was telling me of the "souped up" prius' in SoCal. I guess they mod anything out there.
Yes Chris #8 is the same.
Is The Scott coming along?
I have the revised route done. It was suggested to drive back roads down instead of 33. The added time means a finish in mid afternoon instead of late lunch. So I'll put it to the group. Longer drive or lunch at the Bar-bq place?

You might see some Miatas while you are out and about. -

As long as they get out of the way and don't mind getting passed. They can share the road. I'm always open to a handling contest. Not that I'll win, it just the contest.

That link is not doing anything for me.

Really???? This is just a stupid statement to be made in a thread about a drive on a public road. I can't open the link either, but I'm sure it is about the Buckeye Miata Club having their auto x dinner in Hocking Hills this Saturday. I'm sure they would welcome you to partake in a handling contest at their monthly events.

Lets see if this works better, they include their route so you could check against yours to see if you will run into any trouble.

Wow you really can't tell sarcasm. Yes you can pass other cars on public roads. Most MINIs won't have trouble passing a Miata. -
Based on my previous experiences with you b!tching about slower cars and screaming on the radio for them to move, it is hard to believe that you were being sarcastic.
I've realized that there is a mob mentality that comes into play on drives (I'm sure it happens with all makes). I've decided that other's have just as much right to be on the road as we do. It is great that locals around the Dragon will pull over to allow faster people to get around them, but I don't expect that same courtesy every where. A recent experience has truly changed my mindset on how I will conduct myself on drives. With that said, I won't be joining in on you drive Saturday. -
Here's a fun fact...

What I like about these runs where one has a printed map is that the pace is your own. I've been in a few of these that turn out to be a Grand Prix of Ohio. I'm not up for that sort of tomfoolery anymore for a variety of reasons.

I agree with you Nathan. What I think irritates me the most is that the comments were directed towards a club that sponsors auto x events (for those that are interested in that) and brings a very large group to one of the most enjoyable drives every year (Riverrun).
