You could buy the tool - only about $30 bux, or you could try this.....bend one end of the circlip about 45* out, slip the circlip over the wheel cylinder (block it from the other side with a wedge of wood or something between it and the hub) then take a drift and tap the loose end in. Worked a treat for me.

i may give that a try...last time i did this i got a really long UNF bolt and using the box end of a wrench with a large washer and nut used the box end to press on the new clip

yes! all of my electrical goodies showed up today!
I must say i love the panel... the fit and finish is top notch and the switches are quite solid and have a good click when activated
New power panel (built on OE panel) and the harness for my new aux fan kit
panel all wired up!
and here are a couple night shots... they really do have a soft glow that doesnt interfere with your night sight

See, it's always sumthin isn't it? Fix one thing nice and new and 5 more look shabby by comparison!
Did you get the wheel cylinder finished? Did my idea work for you? -
i plan to do the wheel cylinder in the morning as they just came in the mail today -
well that was fun lol... i ended up using a long bolt and using the open end of a 19mm wrench i used it to press the clip on... was soo happy when i heard that *snik* and it had fully seated

ok time for more pictures!
yesterday i got the new fuse box installed!
used some heatshrink to seal up the end of the connector from the elements
the new kit came with new crimpable terminals... and he was nice enough to throw in a crimp tool for them too!
good weather tight connections...but putting some di-electric grease in there never hurt
old vs new
half way there!
all done!
and installed
ive noticed a quicker response time from the electrical systems and everything seems to be a bit more stable -

Oh they are! And as far as I know nobody has ever attempted to use them on a Mini! They are LED, and brighter/cleaner than most HID lights, the Jeep guys love them!
