I always use a tie rod/ball joint tool to get mine loose, the joint is a taper, so they always stick - you actually kinda want them too, so they don't turn and ruin the hole.....

Glad you got it all done! Well, at least the one side...

Most people find they have to remove the upper control arm to get the rubber out, that's why I'm going to coilovers on my next Mini.....they're spendy but adjustable and easy to change.

Yeah, I ran hilo's and med stiffness coil springs on Buzz, you couldn't get the coil springs in/out without removing the upper control arm either....

over the weekend i got the passenger side CV/Pot Joint boots done! the passenger side cv joint gave me a bit of a fuss but i was able to get it done! i swapped out the zip ties that come with the kits for some ACT cobra low profile zip ties... worked like a champ!

but yesterday and today brought some more parts for boogie!

here is where i got them
Amazon.com: Low Profile Cable Ties 14-1/2" Black 1 Pcs. Made in USA: Home Improvement

i havent attempted the spring rubbers yet... ive be spraying the bolts on the upper arm with PB bolt breaker for the last few days hoping to loosen up one side so i can undo the thrust plate on the other and just slide the bolt out

Wished I'd've known you were looking for a wheel Roger. I've got one just like it that I'd've sent your way...

I love the wheel too. Very nice. Looks like a Moto-Lita or Les Leston.

Stainless LCB headers? I didn't even know they existed.
