MINIsOnTop is proud to announce the final tally of charity funds raised during MOT 2009.

With money raised selling raffle tickets for the MINI Cooper lease donated by Herb Chambers MINI of Boston, the auction for Red Sox tickets in box seats donated by Hamilton Brook Smith & Reynolds, the auction of a rare Mini Monte Carlo poster signed by John Cooper and Rauno Aaltonen, donated by the family of Dan McDonald, and the sale of many $1 "door prize" tickets purchased to win prizes from Aesthetic Creations, Attitash Grand Summit Hotel, Bavarian Autosport, Bentley Publishers, DDMWorks, Detailers Paradise, GBMINI Circuits, George Constantinou, Greasy's Garage, Jeremy Hosegood, Light In Sight, Loon Mountain, MINI of Manhattan, MINI USA, Mount Washington Auto Road, OutMotoring, Oxford Motorsports, Pooch Style, Robert Cahill, Susan Freda Studio, Tire Rack, Travel Plus of RI, Way Motor Works, and Whalen Shift Machine, we raised ...

... a total of $11,008 for charities, to be divided between Make-A- Wish Foundation of Maine, and the Mount Washington Observatory.

In recognition of the height of Mount Washington, the observatory receives 6.288% of the total, a sum of $692.18. The balance, a sum of $10315.82, will be presented to Make-A-Wish of Maine (an initial sum of $1,100 has already been presented, the balance will follow shortly).

A reminder also that there are links to photos and videos from this years event - a great reminder if you attended, or a way to see what you missed and encourage you to join us next year!
