Our little group from HR MINI have the house in Robbinsville reserved again this year. We'll be down that Monday getting alot of twisty time.

I'm going...probably will be my last trip, unless I get second thoughts [again...lol]. I've gone every year since 2004...started with the Cooper [Silk Green '03] and will end with the same car.

Hey Jeff everyone needs something to look forward to. Can't imagine you not filling the Smoky Mountains with cigar smoke. :wink:

 

I know, I ALWAYS say that, but, it's just a matter of time before the anti-smoker knuckleheads prevail at Fontana....

 

I don't smoke cigars while I drive on the Dragon or on the surrounding roads...THAT can REALLY be bad for your helath! But, I WILL smoke at the Cigar Salon, on the Porch, on Wed. night, and I WILL smoke outside my room as well as with my friends...besides, THEN, we never need to worry about those skeeters or biting flies!

 

Yep in 10 or 15 years you'll have to smoke electronic bug zappers. Isn't progress wonderful? :crazy: Don't worry be happy.

 

Talk to putterfarm, then, as he's my roomie and shares the same thoughts.

 

We get together right after the Welcome Dinner and stay on til we either run out of cigars, talk, energy, or whatever we are imbibing. BTW, the wine tasting is going on inside the Dining Room at the same time we are on the Porch, so people are always going in and out...sitting with us awhile and then going back inside. It's just a great way to kick back and enjoy our first evening [after a long drive to get to Fontana]. The Cigar Salon is free...no cost to the participants. I always bring more than enough cigars [and the selection will fit most everyone's tastes], as well as cutters and matches. Any donations will be collected and given to the Graham County Food Bank.

 

Brian, I plan to head out early Wednesday morning.....the planning starts now!

 

We have been begging the boss to let us go....so far he keeps saying NO...

 

Any and all are events you will remember. MOTD is closer to you and sooner, so that would be a good start for the year!
