Some names... Red Hat on the left. Aaron of OutMotoring With Donut and coffee in hand. MCS02 Football Hoodie Son of MCS02 Red Shirt with arm behind head. Rum4 Adidas shirt, sun of Rum4 aka Chuckie
Big dope in the UT orange hat taking up WAY too much real estate in the pix is me! Jeff Jordan. Z06_Pilot...... Great run again this year!
Everybody in the front group got BLASTED with sand and gravel up on Foothills PKWY, but we where moving along at the posted speed limit, and where able to blow the crud off the road for the rest of the group... Dave.0 and myself have a good bit of touch up work to do!
HA! yea, I learned my lesson last year....kept about a 10 car gap between me and the car in front of me in the early group and did not get the cinder-blast treatment this year. And by "posted speed limit", I assume you mean the revised limit we spray-painted on all the signs?! I think the culprit is those R compounds of Mark's that are like flypaper when they heat up
Everyone that was behind Mark has a lot of touch up work to do. Great run again! In the picture my son, aka chuckie, said to tell you all his name is really Logan!
That was a killer drive... Rode with Whales. Watched Dave.0 get a little sideways twice and a lot once. Twas fun. Thanks to all of you that joined us on the drive. 2016's Donuts on the Dragon is a go.
Was a fantastic run, unfortunately will probably not be returning next year as I'm planning a group trip to the dragon later in May with some friends. Really glad I was able to make it down this year and partake in the festivities. Also, was great meeting everyone - Nathan, Dave.0, Dick, Whales, etc.
The Donut run was great. Thanks Mark Thanks to Aaron and everyone at Outmotoring for hosting us at his place. Thanks to everyone that came on the Devil's Triangle run. I will make it an office run next year starting at Outmotoring. I'll bring more maps.
That Triangle run was awesome! There where lots of pictures I coulda stopped to take, but didnt want to loose you guys.
The Triangle run was fantastic - glad I came out. Definitely include some of those backroads in there that we took on the way back, nice way to break it up from the highway slog out there.
My first Dragon...my first donut run...so much fun it should be illegal. Can't wait till next year. It will give me a chance to learn how to drive...again.
Well I was planning on getting my front bumper redone anyhow now it should be much easier with half the paint removed already. It's just paint and the FUN was worth it. As for that one really sideways moment, when both front wheels were over the yellow line "Sideways" and I could see Whales (Bill) and Nathan out my drivers window and Marks son Blake out my passenger window. Lets just it was very interesting and if it was on video from inside my car you would not believe I got it back straight without coming to a full stop oh along with the expletives. We had a great race Ooops run and it was still LEO-less.
The only thing that I didn't like about this year's donut run was all of the rocks and debris on the foothills parkway. The first pack of eight to ten cars got pelted. I have multiple paint and windshield chips as a result. Maybe next year a few of us can run ahead one at a time to clear the road of the debris... I'll volunteer to leave around 7:00 or 7:15 for the good of everyone elses paint.
Yeah that did suck! I might be better off just re clear coating the entire Rat-MINI after all the chip repairs I have to do. Lucky I know a guy who can do it cheap!
