I know I was devastated when he told me he wasn't gonna be there. He was going to swap them out for almost half of what Way was going to do it for and Way was lower than everyone else prior.

 

Trust me all of us going to the Dragon from Philly were busting his balls last week when we went to Helix to see Jan tuning cars on the Dyno and hang out.

 

I guess his balls must be pretty big for him to STILL not be going to MOTD...:devil:

 

That is disappointing. I was planning to have them do some coding on my car. Wonder who's going to be in their slot on vendors alley.

I was ‘involuntary separated’ from my employer along with about 1000 others.
In my case, the severance package is not too bad; however, I struggle with being able to justify the outlay of funds MOTD requires while not working.
My bride believes I should still attend MOTD; however, I cannot justify the money.
Regrettably, I’ve decided to cancel my trip to MOTD.
Anyone know of someone who might want a room at Fontana Village before I just release it?

I know how you feel, I went through it twice over my career. Retired now thank god.

 

We need to arrange a walnut blast party. So many DI cars in need of it. Even the German bread-van will need one eventually. DI is a great thing, with one huge drawback- CARBON :incazzato:

 

I had Helix do mine last year at MOTD, it really needed it they said. Car had 40k on it.

 

Ah well sheit man, now you tell us...I have to figure out how to tell the wife trip's canceled...

Howdy all... the 2018 MOTD thread isn't up, so I'm posting here....

I'm a soon to be MINI owner again... picking up a 2005 MCS JCW this weekend. My wife looked at me this morning and asked "Have you made reservations for the Dragon next year?" (I love that woman).

I just called... Fontana is sold out. Anyone have a room in a cabin for me?

Get you name on the FONTANA waiting list early as rooms / cabins will open up like they do ever year.

 

Listen to Dave. A reservation opened up for me a week before the event this year. I made my reservations for next year when I checked out.

 

Also, check out AirBNB for some nice spots.

 

when tax time comes around, people tend to bail out of their reservations , so start checking for rooms around then. :ihih:
