Very true - seems ole Covid made it even worse. Guess people driving less... they forgot how to drive!.
I wish I was going. I went last year for the 15th Cigar Salon, after having to sit out the two prior years. Before that, I had attended every year since 2004. Unfortunately, I had a bad fall right before Palm Sunday and am still stoved up...can't bend my left arm, my tail bone is swollen and sitting is damned near impossible, plus my back and shoulders are so bruised that they look like I was run over by a bulldozer. Plus, I am now 76 yrs. old and, while nothing was broken, my recovery time won't happen until long after this year's MOTD is a distant memory. So, here I sort of sit...unable to visit my friends at the Cigar Salon I used to sponsor [Snooter canceled it when I canceled my Lodge reservations], and, wanting to go one last time [but knowing that time, age and health are against me now]. For those of you who are going...HAVE FUN, and, BE SAFE, for the Dragon's bite is ferocious! Jeff
The joke among some retired coworkers and family who have fallen and broken something is that old people don’t bounce well. Sorry to hear you fell but on bright side nothing is broken.
Yeah, the bright side is that there seems that nothing is broken, the the bad side is that, who knows what shape this old bod will be in next year when MOTD rolls around and I'm a year older [or still alive]?
wmwmy, sorry to here, hope you get well fast. Aaron, excited to be joining your Donut Run. James ran it for ya last year and did a great job. But glad to have you back! Caution! Last year the Dragon had way too many deaths! Sheriffs and State Police cracking down and are ticketing anything over 5mph! Please drive carefully. (I was just down there last month) Final registered, 550 MINIacs and 378 MINIs! I leave in 3 days!
