If that's the same clubman I think it is, from NJ I think, I saw the driver get pulled on the Dragon. Ironic, no?

Seems like she complained more about the slow drive and how the "crowd" sucked the fun out of the road. She completely missed the point of MOTD.

No doubt the slow relaxing drive may have kept her from flying off the road and into the weeds. It sounds like she got off light with only a Tennessee ticket. Probably saved her life or maybe someone else on the course?

We were out on the Dragon when this Clubman and the blacked-out R56 MCS were out there, and they definitely were putting those cars through their paces. No surprise they got a ticket, but my friend will feel better about having to let them pass him (although we were in a stock, base Cooper with 3 people in it) knowing it was a R&T reporter.
Can anyone confirm if this particular Laurel Clubman was the one with black rear pillars or the white rear pillars? -
Hi from Road & Track
Hi Everyone,
Just a quick note to say hello and say that I hope you enjoyed my blog post. This was my first time on the Dragon and it was the most amazing trip! That road is made for Mini.
I've got an article, gallery and video on the way and will let you all know when it's online.
As for the crowds, I'm not sure about that reference in the posts above. My impression of the event was more the fascination with having so many Mini Coopers in one place (I've got an '04 Cooper S at home) and was thrilled to interact with so many people who love this car as much as I do.
So, truly the event of a lifetime for me and really grateful for the experience!

I'm looking forward to seeing the article. Please do let us know when posted. Any chance there will be a print version too? -
Perhaps I read the wrong thing. I am glad you enjoyed yourself and I look forward to getting the magazine. I have been a faithful reader for the last 30 years and a veteran MOTD vendor for the last five. It was good to have you.
Cheers,

Thanks for the link. My friend Mark from the Michigan club is a freelance photographer he actually sold them a few pics. Can,t wait to see the full write up.
