Those Motive hoses get brittle and crack after a few years,
and you notice it just when you get ready to use it.

This is the 5/16 ID 7/16 OD tube from the bleeder to the brake resevoir adapter.

What kind of hose have people used that will hold up to brake fluid when
they don't want to order replacement hose from Motive and wait for it to ship and arrive?
(i.e. available at Lowe's or similar local hardware stores).

Would consider this a cheap single use item, just so it doesn't
melt, dissolve, or leach with brake fluid going through it once.

Got 20’ of 5/16-7/16 vinyl hose and s couple #4
screw hose clamps at Lowe’s for about $8.
It was the only material they had in the right size.
    Should work, I hope.

What about going to a parts store and get some rubber brake line. They should have on a spool to cut to length.

Used the vinyl hose, but ordered 10 feet of Tygon 2375 hose for future use.
