Please check your car. You might have something trapped under your gas pedal.

BTW, I prefer to call them "Candy Corns" instead of "petals". :D

I got this new iPhone app that keeps track of my car maintenance. It also calculates gas mileage. My JCW has averaged 19.4 mpg over the last two fill ups. My convertible Justa averaged 19 even. :cryin:

i've been using my cousin's 2nd gen Cooper-Auto for the past 3 weeks, not too bad of a drive. I've only had to fill up the tank twice in 3 weeks and it's quite a pleasant surprise. First tank got me 480 miles (mixed city and hwy); 2nd tank got me 468 miles... but i did notice that the cooper gas tanks are BIGGER than the S... it's something like 14.4 gal which ~ to 32 to 33.5 MPG.

In comparison, the MCSa that we use for the MINI Road Tour average about 28 to 31MPG. So for me, i'd give up the extra 2mpg and get the turbo :D I know my cousin is regretting it now b/c she wants more powa for her cooper :(

I guess that's because when I hit the throttle now, the car "scats".
