I may be biased, but supporting M/A is a good choice.

Also, how is it that Barry (MC2) is member number 3 over at LXM, 1 being you Donald, 2 being your son. Considering all those early ones were by invitation only we are all to believe that of all the 100's of people you know from your years of being very active on NAM the first person that came to mind is one that would use you for commercial gain.

Something smells bad here...and it ain't me, I've recently showered. :lol:

 

I guess I'd better prepare to ignore yet another email from Barry telling me how poorly I run this site since I don't edit out honest feedback and that I should not post that I received an email from him. Consider this a preemptive post then, it I've already written about how I'm going to ignore it Barry, don't waste your time, better the time be used to pay the pittance to those you promised to pay.

Not many people will see your work in Mr. Barry's rag. Since he & his rag are swirling around to bowl waiting to go down. I'm very sorry you are being screwed, but this scenario does not surprise me one bit.

It's a shame such good photos are in such a sorry excuse of a magazine.

I wish the MINI world was big enough to support another U.S. magazine, I'd love to subscribe to a good one based on this side of the pond. I have pointed this out to Satch/Roundel; a nice MINI section would potentially benefit everyone, especially at a time when the BMWCCA is trying to increase membership, but it fell on deaf ears. Roundel, with it's resources, just with 5 pages or so a month, could put MC2 to shame. Most of Roundel's editors actually made it through High School, or at the very least have a GED.

MC2 started out promising, and degenerated into what it's become; a second rate rag that cares nothing of the community and everything about getting an extra coin into the pocket, to the extent of screwing people who do things in good faith. Unfortunately there are plenty of good people in the community for people like MC2 to take advantage of. Speak with your pocketbook.

All I know about mc2 is what I learned here. I voted for the farm. I hope they can turn their $150k into lots of hippie vegetables or whatever.

 

Here is a better idea let's post pro photos and stuff on a website and skip the rag.

Barry has nothing to do with LXM. He has no influence on LXM. LXM is a place that I started to get away from all the drama of other groups on Facebook and NAM. I deleted the post because IMO this is a personal issue and had no place on LXM. I might of jumped the gun by removing Steve from LXM but again I don't want drama on the LXM page. Steve has been added back and I have spoken to Steve as to what happened on my part. I even apologized to Steven for acting so fast on trying to keep this off of LXM. David Lewis has nothing to do with this personal issue and to ruin Davids special day is wrong IMO. If anyone wanted to warn him, you could of IM David personally and not brought the issue to LXM. I will now distance myself from the issues between him and Barry as I never wanted to be brought into this and some felt the need to personally bring me in. So I will be clear in I have nothing to do with MC2 or Barry and they have nothing to do with LXM except that he is a member like everyone else.
