That's correct :biggrin5: I've talked to Mr. Salt while we were waiting in line to get to the baseball field to take the Panorama picture Chris
Mr. Salt!! Ah, if I were to retire and travel as much as you do, I'd be loving that posh interior. THAT'S what the Goodwood was built for!
The Goodwood gives you somwthing to look forward to after all of those years of work and sleeping on airplanes. Mr Salt was bought to be driven, not to be a collectors item sitting in the garage.
Brings Back Memories Today's random garage sighting brings back many memories. We were fortunate to have known this owner, meeting him while cruising on our boats on the Great Loop journey. His enthusiasm for MINI was one of the factors that began our interest in the new generation of this marque. He had planned on motoring Mr. Salt on MINI Takes the States 2014. Unfortunately, his health declined and he passed away the week after MTTS completed. I feel fortunate to have known him and those of you who met him at MOTD and other MINI events feel the same, I am sure.
Richard was a member of our local club, and attended events with his wife Carol. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet them and spend time at rallies. While his entrance into the MINI world came later in life, he still enjoyed it to the fullest. You can read more here: Richard James Nick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information
