Join us on July 9 at Road Atlanta in northeast Georgia for a literal cross-country track-to-track adventure. Warm up your tires as you navigate through the rolling hills and make your way to Charlotte, NC and Richmond, VA; both homes of famous NASCAR and Indy events. Seize your share of Manifest Destiny as you embark on an old west adventure beginning in Sioux Falls, SD. Marvel at the beauty and rugged byways of the Black Hills and explore the home of another motoring mecca, Sturgis, SD. Shift gears and crank the wheel towards the home of the world’s largest outdoor rodeo, Cheyenne, WY. Clean the windshield in Park City, UT, but there’s no rest for the wicked. You rally on to Sin City, Las Vegas, NV. On July 22, the home stretch is in sight and the checkered flag is yours at the Thermal Club motorsports complex. The final drive-off departs from downtown Palm Springs, CA the morning of July 23. Whether you join us for a just a few legs or go full throttle for the 4,000+ mile, fifteen-city trek, we welcome you! Registration opens March 2016. We motor on to historic Baltimore, MD, Pittsburgh, PA, and then the motor city herself, Detroit, MI. Reach the northernmost point of your adventure in St. Ignace, MI. Turn left to reach Green Bay, WI and then onto the city so aptly named for this rally, Minneapolis, MN!
So, for us in Columbus, we drive down to Atlanta on Friday and run the route to Detroit thru Wednesday and then drive home (3 hours) back to Columbus. Anyone want to do join me?
Who in the heck draws these routes? And, through Las Vegas terminating in Palm Springs in the dead of July... That's nice! :frown2: Not gonna happen.
Yea, it will be hot at Las Veges and Thermal, CA but I am still planning to make the whole trip. I think I will fly from CA to Atlanta, for the start, and I just need to figure out how to get my car shipped to Atlanta.

Gosh Mark. Just write us all off because in 3 days over a holiday no one has decided to take a week off to drive around. No one has to check a calendar, work schedule or significant other. Nope. You say something is dead often enough and people start believing it BTW. I killed Paul too
I'm rather interested too... Still need to figure out a few things. Like will I have a running MINI at the time. What are the costs involved. Do I think the MINI will survive a drive to Atlanta. So lots of questions, no answers as of yet.
I'm trying to see if there is any interest from the Vancouver BC clubs to join for the Park City UT to Palm Springs run.
Folks out this way are thinking the SD route to Park City for a number of folks, lots of interest. A few will go east coast to west coast, it is only money!
